I was asked to perform with some of the cast of Ain’t Too Proud for Curtain Up- a free, three-day outdoor event celebrating all things theater. I played with one of our percussionists Roger Squitero and the house band and we had the chance to showcase two songs from our show—‘Get Ready’ and ‘Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.’
It was a short performance but so much fun to finally play these songs publicly after so long.
Backed by Playbill, the Broadway League and Times Square Alliance, the three-day event featured big names from the stage, panels, sing-alongs and an AR experience to help lure tourists and regulars back to the theater district.
